Story of the Prism Sea

Previous studies have shown that the merfolk from the Prism Sea have been known to disappear into mysterious deep waters for no apparrent reason, then return more joyful and playful, puzzling experts for decades.While performing routine laboratory testing of salt water micro-organisms from the Prism Sea, oceanographers found several new species of exotic tropical sea creatures. After further studies, they found that with the climate changes, many unknown deep sea creatures were moving inward. As a result, the merfolk didn't continue to go out in deep waters. A marine psychologist studied the merfolks' behavior and discovered they were interacting with the sea creatures. One mermaid in particular was throwing sea sponge in the air, and a creature was catching it and bringing it back to her. The mystery of the disappearance of the merfolk was finally solved...they wanted pets to play with!
